Countryside naadam calendar
Every aimag and soum celebrates its own naadam in early–mid July. Smaller and closer than the national festival — you stand metres from the wrestlers and the finish line. Dates float each year; confirmed entries are marked.

| 4 – 5 July Dates to be confirmed | Arkhangai aimag naadam (Tsetserleg) One of the most atmospheric aimag naadams, in the Khangai mountains. Combine with Tsenkher hot springs. Dates float around early July. | |
| 5 – 6 July Dates to be confirmed | Bayan-Ölgii aimag naadam (Ölgii) Kazakh-majority far west — naadam with its own flavour, sometimes including eagle hunters. Usually early July. | |
| 5 – 6 July Dates to be confirmed | Khövsgöl aimag naadam (Mörön) Aimag-centre naadam near lake Khövsgöl's gateway town. Typically early July, before the national festival — dates confirmed each season. | |
| 6 – 7 July Dates to be confirmed | Övörkhangai aimag naadam (Arvaikheer) Horse-breeding heartland; strong racing tradition. Often pairs well with a Kharkhorin (Karakorum) itinerary. | |
| 7 – 8 July Dates to be confirmed | Khentii aimag naadam (Chinggis khot) In Chinggis Khaan's homeland; statehood anniversaries are celebrated with extra scale here. | |
